Walailak University Graduate Scholarships

A full tuition fee waiver for the applicant enrolled the international master programs or master  programs with English-medium instruction.

Eligibility of Student

  • All nationalities
  • Have academic record of with GPAX of not less than 3.00 (on 4.00 scale) for Bachelor’s degree holder
    3.50 (on 4.00 scale) for Master’s degree holder

    *In the case of completing a master’s degree, with a research-oriented thesis plan, there must be research articles published in international academic journals indexed in the Scopus database.
    **In case the cumulative grade point average does not meet the above criteria, consideration may be given to research publications in international journals indexed in the Scopus database as an alternative on a case-by-case basis. 

  • Applicant must have an English language proficiency, which needs to be demonstrated as equivalent to or more than an official TOEFL score of 500 (Paper based) or score according to the University’s announcement

Publication before Graduation 

  • A research article written by scholarship recipients MUST be published or have been formally accepted for publication in peer review academic journal indexed in SCOPUS database ranking with Q2 or higher

Conditions

  • Student in coursework program must have at least 3.00 of GPA for every term
  • Submit a progress report to the CGS every term
