The College of Graduate Studies (CGS), Walailak University (WU) successfully hosted a training session entitled “The Art of English Public Speaking: Excellence for Graduate Students” on June 9, 2025 at SPARK Meeting Room, 1st Floor, Academic Building 1, Walailak University.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Apirak Payaka, Vice Dean of CGS, opened the session by highlighting the crucial role of public speaking in academic research communication and global engagement.

We were honored to welcome Dr. Tipaya Peungcharoenkun as the guest speaker. A specialist in communication and a proud Ph.D. in Liberal Arts alumna from Walailak University, Dr. Tipaya shared valuable insights into academic presentation techniques.

A total of 18 graduate students joined the session. They had the opportunity to practice public speaking in English, describe and present their research topics and engage in interactive discussions and collaborative activities

The session featured hands-on exercises and peer-to-peer interaction, enabling participants to build confidence and enhance their academic communication skills.
