The College of Graduate Studies (CGS) organizes extra-curriculum activities: time management and Chinese-Thai cultural exchange activities for the Master of Management program in Management and Doctor of Philosophy Program in Management (International Program) students for this Chinese New Year on February 8, 2024. The event participates by more than 60 doctoral and master’s degree students and parents from China. The Chinese-Thai cultural exchange has a long history, characterized by mutual influence in various aspects such as language, religion, cuisine, art, and traditions. Both China and Thailand have deep-rooted cultural identities, and their interactions over the centuries have resulted in a unique blend of shared elements. There will be cultural exchange activities regarding cooking (making dumplings), which is considered an important food for the Chinese New Year festival. Dumplings are indeed a significant and traditional food associated with the Chinese New Year festival. They are often made with various fillings, including meat, vegetables, and sometimes seafood. The process of making dumplings involves a series of steps, from preparing the filling to folding the dumpling wrappers. Everyone really enjoyed making dumplings and participating in this activity. Remember to be respectful of cultural differences and create an inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable participating. Enjoy the cultural exchange and the delicious dumplings!
