Asia Social Issues attended the Seminar on “The 2nd System Development and Quality Improvement of Thai Journals Indexed in Scopus, Phase 2” .

On October 19, 2023, Asst. Prof. Dr. Siriporn Somboonboorana, Editor-in-Chief and Mrs. Opor Ninlaart, Manager of Asia Social Issues the journal of Social Science and Humanities, attended “The 2nd System Development and Quality Improvement of Thai Journals Indexed in Scopus, Phase 2” at the Phayathai 3-4 Room, 6th Floor, Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai, Bangkok, Thailand.
The seminar was organized by the Thai Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI) in collaboration with Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC) and Scopus. The meeting of “Quality Improvement of Thai Journals for Indexing in Scopus, Phase 2” to improve the Quartile level of Thai journals in the Scopus database, which contains 48 journals, and another project carried out in parallel called “Quality Improvement of Thai Journals for Indexing in Scopus, Phase 2 (2023-2025)” has arranged a seminar to raise awareness in order to improve the quality of Thai academic journals and get at least 40 journals into the Scopus database.
