Date: August 15, 2023

Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Venue: Khao Luang Chamber, Cooperative Building, Walailak University

In a dedicated effort to nurture academic growth and provide continuous support to its esteemed scholars, The College of Graduate Studies (CGS) at Walailak University (WU) arranged a pivotal progress report session. The event, centered around recipients of the Scholarships for High Potential Candidates to Enroll in Doctoral Programs (HP) and the Walailak University Graduate Scholarships (WUGS), took place on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Khao Luang Chamber within the Cooperative Building at Walailak University.

One of the primary objectives of the session was to provide a space for the scholarship recipients to present concise reports detailing the progression of their theses. There were 25 recipients attended the sessions (22 onsite presenters and 3 online presenters). Beyond the formal presentations, this event served as a bridge for these scholars to establish a direct line of communication with the CGS and the academic community. It allowed recipients to share their challenges, queries, and concerns faced during the course of their research activities.

The proactive engagement between recipients and the CGS team was positioned to be a two-way channel, where not only could recipients voice their obstacles, but the CGS, in turn, could offer guidance, solutions, and valuable suggestions to navigate these hurdles effectively. The event sought to cultivate an atmosphere of proactive problem-solving and academic mentorship, fostering an environment where scholars can seek assistance with confidence.
