On May 8, 2026, the Center for Digital Journal Management and Multidisciplinary Academic Platform, Walailak University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Thanaphat Detchphawutikul, Editor-in-Chief, together with the editorial teams of the Asian Journal of Arts and Culture (AJAC), Asia Social Issues (ASI), and Trends in Sciences (TiS), attended the “TCI Editor Training Program B: Publication Ethics” at the Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn, Bangkok. The participation aimed to further strengthen the ethical standards of academic publishing.
The training program was organized by the Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI), the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), and the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA). The program’s objective was to cultivate a thorough and precise understanding of publication ethics among journal editors. On this occasion, Professor Dr. Narongrit Sombatsompop, Head of the TCI Centre, presided over the opening ceremony and delivered a special lecture on “Principles of Publication Ethics for Editors.”
Participation in this training reflects the strong commitment of the AJAC, ASI, and TiS editorial boards to the continuous development and elevation of their journals’ quality. This dedication ensures that the peer review and publication processes remain transparent, strictly adhere to research ethics, and uphold the rigorous standards expected of high-quality academic journals recognized both nationally and internationally.
