TiS and AJAC Editorial Teams Attend TCI Forum on Elevating Thai Journals in Scopus, Open Access Strategies, and Research for Social Impact
On March 27, 2026, Center for Digital Journal Management and Multidisciplinary Academic Platform (DJMP), College of Graduate Studies, Walailak University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phongpichit Channuie, Editor-in-Chief, along with the editorial team of the journal Trends in Sciences (TiS), and Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanaphas Dejpawuttikul, Editor-in-Chief, along with the editorial team of the Asian Journal of Arts and Cultures (AJAC), attended a meeting on “System Development and Quality Improvement of Thai Journals in the Scopus Database, and the Design of Open Access Mechanisms and Linking Research to Social Problem-Solving,” organized by the Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI) at Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn, Bangkok.
During the event, many new developments on the horizon for Thai academic publishing were presented, including:
- TCI Preprint Archives — a first for Thailand
- A Research Data ChatBot for executives, researchers, and communities
- Understanding the Processes of Erratum, Correction, and Retraction
- Recognition of National-Level Journal Reviewers
Additionally, the event highlighted the introduction of the Editor’s Training Program and Ethics/AI Training Policy, organized by the Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI). These initiatives aim to support the continuous quality development of Thai academic journals.
