CUAST Delegation Visits Walailak University to Exchange Insights on Academic Journal Management 

February 27, 2026 — At the Moklan Room, 3rd Floor, Prof. Dr. Wichit Srisa-an Building, Walailak University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phongpichit Channuie, Dean of the College of Graduate Studies, together with staff from the College of Graduate Studies and the Division of Corporate Communication, welcomed 14 executives, editorial board members, and staff from the Council of University Administrative Staff of Thailand (CUAST), led by Mr. Rewat Ratanakarn, President of CUAST, for a study visit and knowledge exchange on academic journal management.

The visit aimed to foster cooperation and build a collaborative network for the development of academic journals. CUAST recognized Walailak University’s strong commitment to advancing its academic journals to internationally accepted standards, supported by efficient management systems and highly experienced editorial teams — making it an excellent model and a valuable source of learning for the delegation.

On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phongpichit Channuie, Editor-in-Chief of Trends in Sciences (TiS) and Trends in Routine to Research (TR2R), delivered a special lecture titled “An Overview of Academic Journal Management at Walailak University,” sharing experiences and best practices for elevating journal quality to international standards, followed by an open discussion and Q&A session with the visiting delegation.
