The College of Graduate Studies, Walailak University, in collaboration with the School of Architecture and Design, organized an academic event entitled “Opportunities for Graduate Studies in Architecture and Design” to provide prospective students with comprehensive insights into the university’s master’s and doctoral programs in the field. The initiative aimed to promote academic advancement and foster interest in graduate-level education and research.
Held on 11 September 2025 at the Exhibition Hall, 2nd Floor, Architecture and Design Practice Building, the event featured presentations from distinguished faculty members, including Assoc.Prof.Dr. Wirut Thinnakorn , Assoc.Prof. Jantanee Bejrananda , and Assoc. Prof. Banjongsak Pimthong, along with lecturers from the program. The speakers shared in-depth perspectives on the curriculum’s strengths, academic structure, and the vibrant learning environment that characterizes graduate education at Walailak University.
In addition, Dr. Somruethai Bouyam from the College of Graduate Studies introduced research funding opportunities available to graduate students. Her session focused specifically on mechanisms for securing financial support for research activities at both the master’s and doctoral levels, underscoring the university’s commitment to fostering advanced scholarly work.
The event welcomed over 100 participants, reflecting strong interest in graduate education and the growing recognition of Walailak University’s excellence in architectural and design studies. Attendees had the opportunity to engage directly with faculty members, explore academic pathways, and gain clarity on program details and research prospects.
