On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, Trends in Sciences attended in the Scopus CSAB Meets Thai Editors and Local Boards. The event took place at the Jupiter 12 – 13, Impact Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi, Thailand. This event aims to enhance knowledge and understanding among journal editors and editorial boards on improving the quality of Scopus-indexed journals.
During this event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phongpichit Channuie, Editor-in-Chief of Trends in Sciences was invited as a speaker for the session “Pain Points/Challenges in Managing Thai Journals Indexed in Scopus.” This provided an opportunity to share experiences and challenges in managing a journal indexed in the Scopus database. The discussion served as a significant platform for exchanging insights and strategies to improve the quality of Thai journals to meet international standards.
The meeting also welcomed participation from editors in the Local Board project and the Scopus CSAB Subject Chair, who contributed valuable perspectives and development strategies for Thai journals. The knowledge-sharing sessions fostered collaborative learning, benefiting the continuous enhancement of journal quality at the global level.
