
The College of Graduate Studies (CGS), Walailak University, in collaboration with the School of Allied Health Sciences (SAH), the School of Agricultural Technology and Food Industry (SAF), and the Herbology Research Center, successfully organized a seminar aimed at advancing research and publication skills for both Thai and international students.
The event featured two captivating sessions delivered by esteemed speakers from the Centre for Natural Products Discovery, School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences, Liverpool John Moores University:
Session 1:
“Publishing in Peer-Reviewed Journals: From an Editor-in-Chief’s Perspective”
Presented by Prof. Dr. Satyajit Sarker, this session provided valuable insights into navigating the publishing process, with practical tips to enhance the quality and visibility of research publications.Session 2:
“The Powerful Effects of Antioxidant-Rich Foods”
Led by Prof. Dr. Lutfun Nahar, the session explored the health benefits of antioxidant-rich foods, sparking interest in cutting-edge research on natural products.
To honor the distinguished speakers, Associate Professor Dr. Wachiraporn Poungjinda, Assistant Dean for International Affairs of the CGS, presented tokens of appreciation during the coffee break. This gesture highlighted Walailak University’s commitment to fostering academic collaboration and promoting global perspectives in research.
