On Friday, September 6, 2024, the College of Graduate Studies (CGS) of Walailak University (WU), in collaboration with the Center for Library Resources and Educational Media (CLM), conducted a program titled “Enhancing Online Research Skills for Graduate Students.” The event was held via Zoom Cloud Meeting and aimed to provide participants with knowledge about the research databases subscribed to by the university, along with guidance on effective research information search strategies.
The training began with an introduction by Dr. Somruethai Bouyam, General Administrative Officer at the CGS. Miss Khanitta Jitlang delivered a presentation and demonstration on using databases for Health Sciences, followed by Mrs. Kittiporn Sriphet, who presented and demonstrated the use of databases related to Science & Technology, and Social Sciences.
Additionally, the session included information about the library services related to research discovery, providing students with resources and support to start their research work with quality and efficiency. A total of 15 students and staff members participated in the event, showing strong interest in enhancing their research skills.
