On Friday, July 17, 2026, the Center for Digital Journal Management and Multidisciplinary Academic Platform (DJMP), Walailak University, organized the 4th “Choosing the Right Journals and Preparing Manuscripts for Publication” workshop at the Moklan Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Professor Dr. Wijit Srisa-arn Building, Walailak University, as well as online via Zoom Cloud Meetings. More than 300 researchers and academic staff from across the country turned out for the event, eager to elevate their research to meet the rigorous standards of national and international publication.

The workshop featured expert speakers who shared their knowledge, including Associate Professor Dr. Phongpichit Channuie, Dean of the College of Graduate Studies, Walailak University, and Editor-in-Chief of the journals Trends in Sciences and Trends in Routine to Research, who gave a special lecture on “Tips and Tricks for Manuscript Preparation to Impress the Journal Editor.” This was followed by Associate Professor Dr. Theerapong Puangmali from the Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University, who spoke on “Choosing the Right Tools for Your Preferred Graphics.” The session concluded with Mr. Kosin Sirirak, Managing Editor of Trends in Sciences, who shared insights on “Tips for Choosing the Right Journals for Publications.”

In addition, the event included pre-test and post-test assessments to measure participants’ learning outcomes, with the top scorers announced and presented with souvenirs. This marks another achievement for DJMP in its ongoing efforts to sustainably build the capacity of the network of researchers and academic personnel.
