On Tuesday, 7 July 2026, from 1:00 – 3:00 PM, at the Chor Pradu Conference Room, 4th Floor, Chulabhorn Vejwattana Building, Walailak University Hospital, the Digital Journal Management and Academic Platform (DJMP), Walailak University, welcomed a delegation of 19 executives and staff from the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA). The delegation was led by Associate Professor Dr. Patthareeya Lakpetch, Director of Research Bureau National Institute of Development Administration, who visited to observe and exchange knowledge on academic journal management.

On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Phongpichit Channuie, Dean of the College of Graduate Studies, Walailak University, presented and led a discussion on the topic “Academic Journal Management at Walailak University,” covering the managements of Trends in Sciences, Asia Social Issues, Asian Journal of Arts and Culture, and Trends in Routine to Research. The session also included an open, informal discussion with Walailak University’s academic journal team on topics such as editorial management processes, approaches to improving journal quality, and strategies for advancing journals toward international indexing databases.

This activity provided a valuable opportunity for the two institutions to exchange experience and best practices in academic journal management, contributing to the ongoing effort to elevate the quality of Thai academic journals to international standards.
