March 5, 2026 – At the Meeting Room AD 3411 (Red Zone), Architecture & Design Building, Walailak University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phongpichit Channuie, Dean of the College of Graduate Studies, along with staff from the Center for Digital Journal Management and Multidisciplinary Academic Platform, Walailak University, welcomed the editorial team of Creative Science journal from the Research and Development Institute, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University. The visiting delegation was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wuttichai Roschat, Editor-in-Chief of Creative Science, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prawit Nuengmatcha, Editor-in-Chief of Wichcha Journal Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University, on a study visit and knowledge exchange focused on academic journal management.
The visit aimed to foster cooperation and establish a collaborative network for developing academic journals. The editorial teams of Creative Science and Wichcha Journal at Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University have set a key goal of improving the quality of their academic journals in preparation for indexing in international databases like Scopus.
During the morning session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phongpichit Channuie, Editor-in-Chief of Trends in Sciences (TiS) and Trends in Routine to Research (TR2R), delivered a special lecture on “An Overview of Academic Journal Management at Walailak University,” sharing experiences and strategies for driving journals to international standards, while also opening the floor for open discussion and Q&A with the visiting delegation.
In the afternoon, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wuttichai Roschat, Editor-in-Chief of Creative Science, discussed “An Overview of Creative Science Journal Management” and participated in an exchange of perspectives and operational experiences to improve journal management processes at both institutions.
This event marks a significant step in strengthening ongoing collaboration among Walailak University, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, and Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University, with a shared commitment to promoting and raising the quality of Thai academic journals toward sustainable international recognition.
