On 8 September 2026, the College of Graduate Studies, Walailak University, organized the “GRAD MILESTONE — SHOW & SHARE YOUR JOURNEY & SUCCESS” activity. The event was conducted in a hybrid format at AD 3411, 3rd Floor, Architecture and Design Building, Walailak University, and via Zoom.

The activity primarily targeted pre-final-year graduate students, providing them with an opportunity to review their academic and research progress, identify challenges and obstacles, and prepare effectively before entering the final year of their studies.

The event was officially opened by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pongpichit Channuie, Dean of the College of Graduate Studies, who welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of creating a supportive platform where graduate students could share their academic experiences, research progress, challenges, and achievements.

Ten master’s and doctoral students from various international graduate programs participated as presenters. Their presentations covered health sciences, data science and artificial intelligence, management, agriculture and food science, and engineering. The research topics reflected the interdisciplinary nature of graduate education at Walailak University, ranging from health risk prediction and causal artificial intelligence to sustainability disclosure, agricultural innovation, food science, precision breeding, and advanced materials for supercapacitors.

The event was also honored by the participation of program chairs and academic advisors from various graduate programs, who attended the presentations and provided constructive comments, recommendations, and guidance. Their valuable feedback supported students in improving their research, refining their study plans, and progressing more effectively toward their academic goals and graduation.

The final session featured an open forum in which students exchanged views on their academic and research progress, discussed common challenges, and shared practical approaches to successfully managing their graduate studies.

The GRAD MILESTONE activity reflected the College of Graduate Studies’ continued commitment to supporting pre-final-year students, helping them remain on track, prepare for the final stage of their studies, and progress toward successful and high-quality graduation.
