On Monday, August 17, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, at Meeting Room AD 3411 (Red Zone), 3rd Floor, Architecture & Design Building, Walailak University, the Scholarly Publishing and Repository Integration Center (SPRINT), Walailak University, welcomed a delegation of executives and staff from the journal Recent Science and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), for a study visit and knowledge-exchange session on international journal management at Walailak University.

On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phongpichit Channuie, Dean of the Graduate School, Walailak University, and Editor-in-Chief of the journals Trends in Sciences (TiS) and Trends in Routine to Research (TR2R), delivered a welcome address, presented souvenirs, and joined a group photo, followed by shared insights on “Overview of Academic Journal Management at Walailak University and the Journal Trends in Sciences.” Asst. Prof. Dr. Apirak Songrak, Vice President of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, also presented on “Overview of Management of the Journal Recent Science and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya.”

The session concluded with an open, informal Q&A and exchange of work experiences, aimed at building an academic collaboration network, sharing best practices, and jointly advancing the quality of management of Thai academic journals toward international standards.
