PILOSOPHY
Master of Science Program in Agro-Industry and Biotechnology (International Program) is a program that focuses on producing graduates with high knowledge and potential in agro-industry and biotechnology in response to the national strategy and target industries of Thailand. This program integrates basic and applied research between Multidisciplinary to produce quality research that can be used for the development of the agricultural sector for the nation including to be accepted at the international level.

- To produce master’s degrees with expertise in agro-industry and biotechnology at an international level in response to the national strategy and the targeted industries of Thailand for both the public and private sectors.
- To enhance the potential of teachers/researchers/scientists/academics both Thais and foreigners to work together using our multidisciplinary expertise to create innovations in agro-industry and biotechnology.
- To encourage university faculty members in many fields to work together to become a source of graduate production of national and international academic publications.
- To increase the potential of research in the country leading to competitiveness and creating innovations for universities and the nation.

SELECTION PROCESS
- All received applications will be assessed and ranked against the eligible criteria for the available quota by the University committee.
- Outcome will be circulated after the selection process is finalized.
GRADUATION CRITERIA
- Passed the English examination according to Walailak University regulations.
- Passed the thesis examination in English and the complete thesis has been submitted to the university.
- The thesis work or part of the thesis must be published or at least accepted for publication in a national or international journal.

PLO1: Have knowledge and be able to integrate academics in the agro-industry and biotechnology focusing on creating innovation through the topic of the thesis that can be used to solve problems for the community, agro-industry and biotechnology at all levels.
PLO2: Able to work either in the government sector, private sector or private business.
PLO3: Have research skills at the international standard in conducting research.
PLO4: Have several skills including English language, information technology, creatives, solving immediate problems, and communication with others.
PLO5: Have morals, ethics and professional ethics.
According to the standard, a graduate with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. This shall be in accordance with Walailak University Regulations on Graduate Studies B.E. 2563 (2020) for bi-semester courses (Appendix B) and must be graduates with a bachelor’s degree in agro-industry, food technology, food science, and technology biotechnology Science or agricultural science or equivalent in a related field from a university or institution recognized by the University Council, or has been approved by the graduate committee of the program. And the course must be a program accredited by the Office of the Higher Education Commission (OHEC), or be a student in the last semester of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the aforementioned field of a university or institution of higher education that is accredited by the University Council and the course must be certify by the Office of the Higher Education Commission (OHEC).
