Admission Requirements

Applicants must meet the qualifications outlined in Walailak University’s Regulations for Graduate Studies, Semester System (Biateral System), 2022 as follows:

  • Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Science, Agro-Industry, Food Technology, Food Science and Technology, Biotechnology Science, Agricultural Science, or equivalence in a related field from a university or higher education institution accredited by the University Council or approved by the Graduate Committee of the program. The bachelor program must be approved by the Office of the Higher Education Commission (OHEC), or the applicants must be a bachelor student or equivalence in the last semester in the mentioned fields at a university or higher education institution accredited by the University Council. The curriculum must be approved by the Office of the Higher Education Commission (OHEC).

Graduation Requirements

Following Walailak University’s Regulations for Graduate Studies, Semester System (Biateral System), 2022:

  • Passed the English proficiency test score requirements set by the committee of the College of Graduate Studies.
  • Passed all courses in the curriculum.
  • Plan A Type A2 students must have a cumulative grade point average of not less than 3.00.
  • Passed the thesis defense examination and already submitted the completed thesis to the university.
  • The thesis or a part of the thesis must be published or at least accepted for publication according to the criteria set by the Graduate Studies Committee.
